Andy Shirtliff completes inaugural Helena Police Department Citizen's Police Academy

Mayor Wilmot Collins honors the first Helena Police Citizen's Police Academy.

The Helena Police Department has attempted to start a Citizen's Police Academy, however COVID had put it on hold for nearly two years, until this fall a class of 14 were able to participate in the inaugural class.

“It was great to see firsthand what Helena's Police Department is made of; professionals who care about their community and their fellow citizens.”
